  • The Twist (1/6)

Twisting is everywhere—whether you’re reaching for something, having a conversation with someone beside you, fastening a seatbelt, or simply getting in and out of the shower. Beyond these daily tasks, a twist can even save your life—it’s often the instinctive reaction that prevents a fall.

With that in mind, I’ve put together your first video below, showing how to safely bring twisting back into your routine.

  • The Pull (2/6)

While our brains were processing billions of bits of information every second, we were also developing the tiny muscles in our cervical spine (the top of the spine near the neck).

Every time we lifted our heads or pushed up through our arms while lying on the floor, we were strengthening those muscles.

These days, the pulling motion isn’t so much about lifting up from the floor but about helping us stay lifted.

Maintaining posture, standing tall, and navigating our surroundings with confidence.

When those muscles become underactive, we tend to lean forward, shifting our center of gravity and increasing the risk of tripping or falling.
