Confucius famously says it as: “carrying away small stones up the mountain.” James Clear describes micro-wins as “atomic habits.” British cycling coach, Dave Brailsford, refers to it as “aggregation of marginal gains.” As ‘they’ say - “Rome wasn’t built in a day, but they were laying bricks every hour.” (not sure who they are) purvida calls it: “the first step to future you.” A micro-win is our ability to break down any situation or scenario until we meet the threshold of positive movement forward. Micro-wins are an edifying experience - and in my personal opinion - the place where our health goals must begin.
